Major WWE Star Taking Break From TV To Get Married
Major WWE superstar, Logan Paul, is preparing to take a short break from television as he gets ready to tie the knot.
The Maverick is engaged to model Nina Agdal. The couple started dating in June 2022 and announced their engagement in July 2023. They welcomed their daughter in September, making this an especially exciting year for the family.
On his IMPAULSIVE podcast, Logan Paul confirmed that his wedding is just two weeks away. During the episode, guest Tiffany Stratton asked if he would be taking time off from WWE, specifically missing the upcoming episodes of RAW and SmackDown. He replied that he will indeed be off TV for a bit, but mentioned that he wouldn’t mind working even during his wedding week because he loves being in the ring so much.
Paul: “Show some respect to me, your friend who’s getting married in two weeks.”
Stratton: “Wow. Are you taking time off?”
Paul: “I mean, like, I’m a part-timer, so I always take time off.”
Stratton: You’re going to miss SmackDown or Raw?
Paul: “They did give me [time off]. I’m honestly ready to go to like SmackDown before the wedding. I don’t care. Like I love working. We’ll see. You know, you guys are working week in and week out. The least I could do is offer to do the same.” [3:47 – 4:17]
WWE’s Logan Paul Wants To Wrestle in Japan
The conversation later shifted to WWE’s upcoming tour in Japan, scheduled for October. The YouTube star expressed his interest in being part of the tour and said he had asked WWE’s Chief Content Officer to book him for those events.
This is particularly notable given Logan Paul’s past controversy involving Japan. In December 2017, he sparked international outrage after posting a video filmed in Japan’s Aokigahara forest (commonly referred to as the “suicide forest”), which showed the body of a person who had died by suicide.
The incident led to significant criticism for being disrespectful. Since then, The Maverick has clarified that he is not banned from entering Japan, but he has chosen to wait for a formal invitation, such as through WWE, before returning.
