WWE SmackDown Star Pitched For Major Roman Reigns Storyline
Roman Reigns could be headed for a major storyline.
After Roman Reigns defeated CM Punk to win the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42, he reunited with The Usos and reformed The Bloodline again. Soon after, Roman was confronted by Jacob Fatu, kickstarting their brutal rivalry. The OTC defended his title against Jacob at WWE Backlash and won. However, after the match, the Samoan Werewolf brutally assaulted Reigns.
This feud continued after Backlash and resulted in Jacob Fatu challenging Roman Reigns to Tribal Combat at Clash in Italy. Again, both men delivered a spectacular contest. Roman managed to defeat Jacob once again. After the match, as Roman was leaving the ring, he spotted Solo Sikoa and the MFTs at ringside, indicating that a future feud could take place down the line. On WWE RAW, Jacob finally acknowledged Roman and seemingly joined The Bloodline. However, Solo Sikoa didn’t interrupt the segment as expected.
A former WWE employee pitches a major storyline between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa
During a recent edition of the Behind The Turnbuckle Studios’ The Last Word, Tommy Carlucci said that he wants Solo Sikoa to get involved in a feud with Roman Reigns since he is part of the same family. He said he was actually expecting Solo and the MFTs to confront Roman and his group.
“It would interest me if they involve Solo. I think Solo needs to be involved with this because he’s such a good talent, he’s part of the family, and actually I thought at the end of the segment, I thought they were gonna come up the entrance way and there was gonna be a standoff of these two guys, these two families looking at each other like, man, something’s gotta go down somewhere, somewhere down the line.”
Tommy Carlucci also predicted that Jacob Fatu would turn on Roman Reigns and join Solo’s team. He also said that this is the perfect opportunity for WWE to do something big with Solo by involving him in this rehashed Bloodline storyline.
“And would it be the guy, Jacob, kind of turning on Roman, but he’s still in the family, and siding with Solo and being on Solo’s side, to be like an almost an NWO part 2.0 or something like that. They’re in the family, right? They’re still in the family, but he’s not with Roman. That’s who’s my thoughts that could be happening somewhere down the line, where Roman thinks he can trust Jacob and he ends up turning and being with Solo, because I like Solo. I think he’s a great talent. They’re not doing enough with him now. Like this is the perfect opportunity that they’re rehashing this. Let’s face it, I’m not the big proponent of this whole bloodline thing, but I see where WWE is going with it. They’re rehashing it after two years again, trying to make it big again. You wanna make it big again? Then you put these two guys against each other instead of me against the world. So we’ll see where it goes, but I think for this thing to really get over and go, Solo has to be involved some way, shape, and form.”
It will be interesting to see whether Solo Sikoa and the MFTs will feud with Roman Reigns and the new Bloodline.
