AEW Double or Nothing saw some major changes to the All Elite promotion as Darby Allin lost his AEW World Championship to MJF after a brutal fight in the main event of the show.

The match had taken a toll on Darby Allin, and he was being stretchered out of the arena before Kevin Knight came out to the ring. He looked at MJF and seemed like he was going to attack the newly crowned champion.

Knight had been by Allin’s side throughout his feud with MJF and also had personal issues with Maxwell. However, he shocked everyone with his actions as he hit a UFO Splash onto Allin, who was strapped to a stretcher.

Kevin Knight turns heel for the first time on AEW TV

The TNT Champion cemented his heel turn on the following episode of Dynamite as he attacked his tag team partner, Speedball Mike Bailey, after he called him out for his actions.

A huge TNT Championship defense was announced for the show tonight, which featured the former tag team partners. Before the match began, AEW confirmed the end of JetSpeed.

They showed a vignette that confirmed Knight and Speedball’s split as a tag team. The duo had a good time as a team and even won the AEW World Trios Championships twice before their split.
