AEW Double or Nothing 2026 ended on a cliffhanger following an unexpected heel turn.

According to the majority of fans on the internet, AEW Double or Nothing 2026 is considered a great pay-per-view from start to finish. After a series of great matches, the main event was between Darby Allin and MJF for the World title.

After taking a lot of physical punishment throughout the match, Darby Allin unfortunately lost his AEW World title to MJF. However, the show didn’t end, as a shocking moment took place towards the end of the show.

A current AEW Champion turns heel at the end of Double or Nothing 2026

After MJF defeated Darby Allin to capture the All Elite Wrestling World title, he celebrated his win on top of Darby, while he was on a stretcher. The current AEW TNT Champion, Kevin Knight showed up to run Max out of the ring. However, in a shocking turn of events, Knight took out Darby on the stretcher and turned heel.

It will be interesting to see how Kevin Knight will follow up on his shocking heel turn at Double or Nothing.
