Ex-Champion Debuts New Heel Gimmick On WWE RAW, SNME Match Officially Announced

WWE is hosting two major events in the span of just a few weeks, as this weekend’s Saturday Night’s Main Event airs live from Madison Square Garden, just weeks before WWE SummerSlam.

With the show taking place in one of the promotion’s “home” venues, WWE is set to stack the card with some massive matches and segments for the event. Some huge blockbuster matches have already been announced before adding another tonight.

There is a new rivalry heating up in the women’s division in the last few weeks after Lyra Valkyria turned on her longtime friend and tag team partner, Bayley, after they were unable to win the Women’s Tag Team Titles against Brie Bella and Paige.

Bayley set to compete at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

Following Lyra’s attack, Bayley called her to the ring tonight as she looked to talk it out with her friend. However, Valkyria wasn’t really interested in mending fences with the Role Model.

She tore Bayley down in the ring, claiming that all the happy moments she spent with her were fake. She called her the worst of the Four Horsewomen and claimed that she doesn’t deserve to be on PLE posters.

Their argument turned into a brawl after Bayley confirmed that she had spoken to Adam Pearce and announced that she would face Lyra Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend.
