3 WWE Stars Are Allegedly Bigger Attractions Than Cody Rhodes & CM Punk

A veteran named three top WWE stars whom he thinks are bigger attractions than both CM Punk and Cody Rhodes.

Back in 2022, Cody Rhodes made his blockbuster return to the WWE after years of reinventing himself on the indies and AEW. He quickly became one of the top guys and has been arguably the biggest babyface in the company. The American Nightmare has also been a multi-time Undisputed Champion since his return.

On the other hand, CM Punk returned to the WWE in 2023 after over nine years and has been one of the biggest stars in his second run with the company as well. He won the World title two times during his tenure and is the current Undisputed Champion. However, the veteran, Mark Henry, believes neither Punk nor Cody Rhodes are the biggest attractions in the Stamford-based promotion.

In an interview with WrestleView, Mark Henry named three stars, Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Oba Femi, saying they are bigger attractions than Cody and Punk. Henry also declared that Roman is at the top of the pile:

I don’t think Cody Rhodes or CM Punk are WWE’s biggest attraction. I think Roman is in the driver’s seat as the main star. He’s championship material. I’d also put Brock or Oba Femi ahead of Punk and Cody, but I would definitely put Roman at the top of the pile.” [H/T Wrestleview]

WWE Hall of Famer was blown away by the announcement of CM Punk vs Cody Rhodes

Last Friday on SmackDown, Cody Rhodes challenged CM Punk for an Undisputed WWE Championship match at SummerSlam. Punk accepted the challenge and the match has been made official.

Speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry reviewed the segment between Punk and Rhodes from SmackDown:

Cody also said ‘I don’t know when,’ then Punk – without any thought process, without any considering who’s in line for it – said ‘When? Say less.’ That match was made right then.”

Mark Henry also revealed that he was blown away by the announcement because he thought that the match would take place at WrestleMania:

I was blown away, because I did think, just like Cody did, that if they ever had a situation where two dominant personalities and talents like those two guys, that the match would end up probably at WrestleMania.”
