Kelani Jordan’s Losing Streak Continues As New NXT Title Challenger Emerges
The main event for WWE NXT tonight featured a massive number one contender’s match, which saw Kendal Grey find out her next challenger for her NXT Women’s Championship.
Former champion Lola Vice got into a brawl with Kelani Jordan and Kali Armstrong on last week’s episode of the show, and the three women were scheduled to face each other tonight in a triple threat clash.
Kelani Jordan walked into the match with a chip on her shoulder as she looked to put an end to an embarrassing losing streak on the show. Jordan had lost all eight of her previous number-one contender’s matches before this one.

She came into the match with vengeance and looked like she would finally snap her losing streak in the number one contender’s matches. All three women came close to winning at a point, with Jordan putting in an amazing performance.
As Armstrong hit Vice with the Kali Connection, both Jordan and Kali tried to win the match with a series of successive roll-ups. With neither woman successful, Lola came back in the ring and took Kali out with her spinning backfist.
Lola was then hit with the Springboard Elbow from Kelani, who then hit the 450 Splash on Armstrong. However, just as she went for the pin, Vice kneed her off the cover and fell on Armstrong to cover her and pick up the win. This loss stretched Jordan’s unwanted losing streak to nine games.
