The WWE President, Nick Khan opened up on the potential future business deals of the TKO group.

Back in 2023, the TKO group finalized a deal with the WWE and merged it with UFC in order to take over the ownership of both companies. Popular sports promotions such as PBR and Zuffa Boxing also come under the TKO banner. The wrestling fans have not been pleased with the way TKO has been commercializing the Stamford-based promotion and have complained about them raising the ticket prices.

Amid all the criticisms, TKO continues to do record business alongside Nick Khan as the president and Triple H as the CCO of WWE. Last month, the TKO group announced a huge deal with Arizona Sports through their official X handle with the following statement:

We’re bringing the biggest events in sports and entertainment to Arizona. TKO and the Arizona Sports & Entertainment Alliance have announced a landmark agreement to bring marquee UFC, WWE, PBR, and Zuffa Boxing events to the state.”

As the TKO group continues to grow its business, many people have been speculating whether they would try to buy more companies in the future.

In an interview with Sports Business Journal, Nick Khan was asked whether the TKO group is looking to venture into other businesses in the future. Nick stated that the current hyperfocus is on the existing businesses and also weighed in on the success of WWE, UFC, and Zuffa Boxing under the TKO banner:

So, look, the hyperfocus right now is on our existing businesses. So, even if you look at these are all publicly, you know, released numbers, the revenue and profitability of the company, the cost synergies, the revenue synergies between WWE and UFC in particular, and now Zuffa Boxing are phenomenal.”

Nick Khan further reflected on the sponsorship deals under TKO and said that they are trying to grow what’s already on their plate right now:

So, if you want to do a sponsorship deal with one, maybe you have to do a sponsorship deal with all. And we found that that leverage in the marketplace has worked quite well as it applies to venues, television deals, or content deals, and everything else. We’re going to stick with what we have for now and try to grow it out in the right way.” [H/T Ringside News]

It remains to be seen what the future holds for the TKO group.
