He’s Back! Chris Jericho Announces Huge AEW Return

Chris Jericho pulled off a huge move on AEW Dynamite.

Jericho and Tommaso Ciampa are currently locked in a grudge feud in All Elite Wrestling. The two stars faced each other on the Beach Break edition of Dynamite, with Ciampa picking up the victory.

Chris Jericho brings back an iconic character in AEW

This week’s edition of Dynamite saw Chris Jericho make his presence felt with a pre-taped promo. He brought up the brutal encounter with Tommaso Ciampa seven days ago, adding that he “liked it.”

Jericho then challenged The Psycho Killer to another match at the upcoming Redemption pay-per-view. Chris Jericho took things to the next level by revealing he will compete in his Painmaker persona.

Last week on Dynamite, you [Tommaso Ciampa] left me bloodied and battered. And I liked it. So let’s do it again. July 26 at Redemption. But let’s raise the stakes, shall we? You bring the pain, and I’ll bring the Painmaker. Hell is coming for you.

“You bring the pain, I’ll bring the PAINMAKER.”

The fight is far from over as @IAmJericho and @MrTommasoCiampa set their sights on Redemption!

Tommaso Ciampa appeared in a backstage segment shortly after. He accepted Jericho’s challenge and then urged the latter to keep a close eye on Ciampa’s bout on Collision this week.
