Major Accusation Against WWE Legend Triple H

A major accusation has been levied against Triple H.

When TNA Wrestling first formed in the early 2000s, it was clear that they were a direct competitor to WWE. They did everything to compete with the sports entertainment juggernaut. The company spared no expense in hiring some of the best talent from around the world.

Several former WWE stars, such as Kurt Angle, Booker T, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, and many more, were hired by the promotion so that it could compete with the Stamford-based promotion. However, this move came back to bite them as the company ran into severe financial trouble. While TNA Wrestling was interested in hiring ex-WWE stars, the same feeling wasn’t reciprocated by Triple H, who currently heads WWE’s creative direction. This is probably why, when ex-TNA wrestlers debuted or returned to WWE, they didn’t get a massive push, with the only exception being AJ Styles, who ended up becoming a WWE Champion. Styles was even inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Matt Morgan claims that Triple H didn’t want former TNA wrestlers in WWE

Speaking to Wrestling Life Online, Matt Morgan claimed that Triple H didn’t want anything to do with former TNA talents because he believed they had the TNA stink.

“There’s another truth that a lot of people don’t realize—that for a minute there, Triple H didn’t want anything to do with any former TNA talents.

He used to say, ‘If you want to come, then you got to get rid of that TNA stink.’ Or stank.

It wouldn’t come from him directly. It’d come from like BG James, other people that I’m friends with that work for the company…”

The former WWE star even revealed that AJ Styles would often ask him and Christian Cage about what he had to do to make it to WWE.

“I’ve been around so many conversations when we were at TNA together where AJ would ask Christian, Tomko, me, others that had been in WWE like, ‘What am I missing? What… are they really sold on size that much?’” [H/T Ringside News]

It looks like AJ Styles was interested in signing with the WWE long before he finally made his debut in 2016. It would’ve been nice to see some former TNA talents get the same opportunities as the Phenomenal One.
