WWE Legend Makes Pamela Anderson Confession: “I Should Have Been A Lot Cooler To Her”
A WWE legend has made a huge confession regarding Pamela Anderson.
Rob Van Dam is one of the most well-known figures in the world of professional wrestling. He first made a name for himself in ECW, where he caught everyone’s attention with his unique in-ring skills.
This helped him get to WWE, where he continued to excel in the ring. He even won the Money in the Bank briefcase and cashed it in to become the WWE Champion. After his run with the sports entertainment juggernaut ended, RVD moved to TNA Wrestling, where he continued to find success. As RVD’s career was starting to take off in 2000, he got the chance to guest star on Pamela Anderson’s action comedy series, V.I.P., where he played an army major named Ving Talbot. However, his encounter with Pamela Anderson didn’t go well.
RVD admits he should’ve been cooler to Pamela Anderson
During his One of a Kind podcast, RVD was asked about celebrities her ran into who may have surprised him as wrestling fans. This is when the WWE legend admitted that he should’ve thanked Pamela Anderson for having him on her show. Instead, he didn’t really talk to her.
“I’ve talked about when I was on Pam Anderson’s show and I should have thanked her for having me on and been kissing her a**, at least thankful and grateful. Instead, I didn’t really talk to her.”
RVD added that she introduced herself and even mispronounced his name. However, he feels he should’ve been a lot cooler to her.
“She introduced herself and she was like, well, she kind of did by saying my name. She said, Rob Von Don.
Looking back at it, my head was up my a** and I should have been a lot cooler to her.”
He even said that she would’ve had a hand to play in him getting a guest spot on her show since she was the executive producer.
“I never even thought like that at the moment. I didn’t even think about, you know, that as executive producer, she might have had a lot to do with even hiring the guest stars on there.”
RVD reiterated again that he should’ve thanked Pamela Anderson, but he kept thinking that he was just an extra on the set, which wasn’t the case.
“Definitely enough to thank her for. Instead, I was just thinking like, uh, she isn’t who I am. I’m just an extra on the set or something to her.
That’s kind of what I thought, which of course that’s not how it is when there’s a guest spot. That’s what it was.” [H/T Ringside News]
Since then, RVD has come a long way in his professional and personal life.
