Roman Reigns Vows To “Close The Door” On Top WWE Star This Year
Roman Reigns is ready to put his feud with a top WWE star to rest.
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have a long history together. They debuted on the WWE main roster as members of The Shield. The group dominated the roster for a few years until Seth Rollins turned on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose.
Over the years, Roman and Seth would come face-to-face with each other multiple times. At WrestleMania 40, Rollins played a key role in helping Cody Rhodes dethrone Roman of the Undisputed WWE Championship. At WrestleMania 41, Seth faced off against Roman and CM Punk in a triple threat match. During the match, Rollins pulled off a masterstroke and got Paul Heyman to turn on Reigns and Punk.
After several months, Seth confronted Reigns a few weeks ago and challenged him to a World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam. This week on WWE RAW, the contract signing for the match took place. During the segment, The OTC got on Rollins’ nerves by telling him that he couldn’t win a World Title without cashing in the Money in the Bank briefcase. This got to him, and he attacked Reigns. The segment ended after Seth Rollins hit Roman Reigns with a nasty stomp.
Roman Reigns is ready to close this chapter with Seth Rollins
Following this segment, Roman Reigns took to social media to say that Rollins sucker punched him because he couldn’t win a title on his own. He then claimed that all of the Visionary’s biggest moments are because of him and vowed to close the door on him forever.
“OF COURSE the guy who can’t win a title on his own would sucker punch me. For that type of disrespect, WE could end you. Too easy. Just remember…all the biggest moments of your career are because of ME. Not anymore. At SummerSlam.. I close the door on you, forever.”

It remains to be seen if Roman Reigns will be able to retain his World Title against Seth Rollins at SummerSlam.
