Roman Reigns’ WWE RAW Return Ends In Disaster
WWE SummerSlam 2026 is less than three weeks away, and the promotion did well to build on the show during tonight’s edition of Monday Night RAW, making a couple of matches official for the event.
WWE had announced the massive clash between Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns for the latter’s World Heavyweight Championship a couple of weeks ago. Rollins is looking to reclaim the title that he never lost from his former Shield brother.
The two met each other once again inside the ring tonight as the main event of tonight’s edition of the show featured the contract signing for the blockbuster SummerSlam match.
Reigns was the first to enter the ring to a massive cheer as the Dallas, Texas crowd acknowledged him as the OTC. Just as he sat down at the table for the signing, Rollins’ music hit and he came out to a similar reaction from the crowd, who sang his song throughout.
Rollins came and sat in front of Reigns and signed the contract for their match. He claimed that some things are certain in life, including Death, Taxes, and Seth Rollins beating Roman Reigns every single time.

Roman responded by stating that following Rollins’ promo last week, it was clear that he is the OTC’s number one hater. Reigns claimed that it is the only thing he’s number one at and that he will show it to Rollins at SummerSlam what being number one looks like.
As Rollins headed to the back after the signing, Roman questioned what would happen if Seth won at SummerSlam. He stated that Rollins will hold the title for a couple of months before getting injured once again.
Rollins was annoyed at the statement and came back to the ring, asking Roman to say whatever he wanted to say. Roman explained why Seth will always remain the number two guy in the promotion.

He said that even after all these years, he needed the WWE Money in the Bank to become a champion. He mocked the fact that Rollins had to fake an injury to cash in the contract to become the champion.
The Visionary then told Roman that he’s glad he’s not anything like him before proceeding to attack him. He hit Roman with multiple stomps as Roman lay on the ground.
He looked to leave the ring, but went for a Stomp, only to be interupped by a Superman Punch from Reigns. He then looked to put Rollins through the table, but Seth attacked him with the mic to his head, before finally taking Roman out with the Stomp.
