SHE’S BACK! Mercedes Mone Finally Makes Her Stunning AEW Return

Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite had some major surprises in store for the fans as they were treated to some extremely memorable and iconic moments on AEW television.

The show was off to a fast start as MJF defended his AEW World Championship against Rush in the opening match of the night. The two men went to war over the promotion’s biggest prize.

Later in the night, TNT Champion Kevin Knight was revealed as the newest member of the Don Callis Family, before moving to the most anticipated match of the night.

Mercedes Mone renews rivalry on AEW return

Willow Nightingale suffered an injury to her shoulder recently and had to relinquish her TBS Championship. In addition to that, she also had to be replaced from the Owen Hart Cup, where she was scheduled to face Alex Windsor.

Their match was scheduled for Double or Nothing, but was moved for tonight’s edition of Dynamite. As Windsor waited for her opponent to be revealed, Mercedes Mone’s music hit and sent the fans into a frenzy.

The longest-reigning TBS Champion in the promotion’s history made a triumphant return tonight. She replaced Willow in the Owen Hart Cup and renewed her rivalry with Windsor. The two former rivals wrestled an entertaining and hard-hitting match that Mone won after making her opponent tap out to the Mone Maker.
