Candice Michelle Sent “Weird Guy” To Fellow WWE Diva To Get Rid Of Him

Candice Michelle recently described a weird interaction with a fan.

Being a WWE Diva in the 2000s was no easy feat. Women were not given the opportunities that the men received and were treated as mere eye candy for the drooling fans. Despite the lack of opportunities, there were some women who broke the glass ceiling and became top stars in the women’s division.

One of those women was Candice Michelle. Candice wrestled for the WWE between 2004 and 2009. Due to her beautiful looks, she quickly became a fan favorite. Candice even reached the pinnacle of her career when she captured the Women’s Championship. All this success also came with a bit of risk. A lot of wrestlers deal with many weird fan interactions during their careers. Hence, Candice was no different either. She recently described how she encountered a weird fan. Luckily for her, she was able to think on her feet and get rid of him.

During an interview on TMZ’s Inside The Ring, Candice Michelle recalled an incident where a weird fan was hanging around her for way too long. She was able to get rid of him by telling him that Victoria was looking for him. This plan worked as the fan went in search of Victoria.

“I did have this guy one time, and he was hanging out way too long. I was like, ‘Okay, buddy, you know, we gotta go.’ And he was there, and we were trying to get him away, but he wasn’t getting away. And so I said to him, ‘Oh, did you know that Victoria really wanted to see you, and she’s around the corner?’ Yeah, it was hilarious. Later at dinner, she was like, ‘There was this really weird guy who came up to me,’ and I was like, ‘Oh, my god.’ I sent him to you,” Michelle said. [H/T Sportskeeda]

Candice Michelle recalled advice John Cena once gave her

During the course of her WWE run, Candice Michelle went from being a model to one of the top stars who could carry the women’s division. During this time, she sustained an injury and was worried about losing her spot. However, John Cena gave her some sound advice that helped her.

During an interview with Chris Van Vliet, Candice Michelle recalled John Cena telling her that the business would go on with or without her. This made her realize that it was more important for her to prioritize her own health.

“He said the business goes on with or without you.

That really stuck with me because at that time I was injured and worried about losing my spot. But it made me realize that you have to take care of yourself and think long-term, because the show will keep moving whether you’re there or not.”

It’s good to hear that John Cena was around to help out a fellow WWE star who was going through a difficult time.
