WWE Legend Wrestles First Singles Match In 10 Years On SmackDown

WWE SmackDown hosted a special edition of the show tonight as it was somewhat of a special episode, which wished the viewers a very happy 4th of July.

The episode aired on tape delay as it was taped following Monday Night RAW this past week, as the promotion gave some time off to the entire crew and roster for the Independence Day weekend.

They still managed to put on an entertaining night for the WWE Universe and treated them to some exciting matches, including a massive number one contender’s match.

However, there was another noticeable match on the show as Brie Bella took on Lainey Reid in singles action tonight. Bella, who is currently one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champion, wrestled her first match on the blue brand in 10 years tonight.

Bella and Paige have been feuding with The Fatal Influence ever since the group made their debut on the SmackDown following WrestleMania 42.
