Backstage Fight Suddenly Breaks Out In AEW, Chris Jericho Involved

Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw multiple fights break out on the show, right from the beginning of the episode. The show kicked off with MJF’s defense of the AEW World Championship against Mark Briscoe.

The bloody match ended with a brutal assault from MJF before Andrade El Idolo was seen speaking with Tony Schiavone. He announced that he was done with the Don Callis Family before they came out to attack him.

Former TNT Champion, Tomasso Ciampa, was then seen chatting backstage with Renee Paquette as he spoke about his upcoming match with Chris Jericho at Dynamite Spring Break last week.

However, things quickly turned ugly during this backstage segment, when Jericho ambushed Ciampa during his interview as he threw a trash can at the former WWE star.

The backstage crew tried to stop them from tearing each other apart, but Ciampa took the crew members out and got his hands on a drill. He tried to use the drill on Jericho, but he gave it his all to stop from drilling his head in.

Their brawl continued in the parking lot, where Jericho jumped from a truck onto Ciampa and a couple of security members. As more security members came out, the two men were separated from each other, building up even more intrigue for their upcoming match.
