10-Time Champion Is Returning On WWE RAW After Night Of Champions

A major star will return on WWE RAW.

Night of Champions is in the history books, and it was packed from start to finish. WWE is expected to carry forward the momentum on tonight’s episode of the red brand, which will emanate from the Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Oba Femi became the King of the Ring in Saudi Arabia, and he will reveal which world champion he wants to face at SummerSlam. As of this writing, only one match has been confirmed for the show. Chad Gable will face The Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh in a singles encounter.

Last but not least, WWE has announced that Roman Reigns will be back on the Monday night show. The OTC missed last week’s RAW at The O2 in London, UK, as well as the Night of Champions premium live event.

Huge Roman Reigns match pitched for WWE SummerSlam 2026

Wrestling analyst recently pitched an idea in which Oba Femi will give up his title opportunity at SummerSlam and face Brock Lesnar instead. He then put forward the idea of a Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

According to Roberts, this is the route WWE should take in the next few weeks.

With Oba Femi out of title contention, I’m doing Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins at SummerSlam. It’s a stadium match. I’m not putting it off. I’m doing Roman vs. Seth at SummerSlam. Now you’ve got two matches. You’ve got Rhea (Ripley) vs. IYO (SKY), where Rhea has never beaten IYO, and you’ve got Seth vs. Roman, where Roman has never beaten Seth. Two championship matches where the champion has never beaten the challenger. And that’s what you’re putting in to a two-night stadium show at SummerSlam. [1:05:00 onwards]

Seth Rollins defeated Bron Breakker in a steel cage match at Night of Champions. Following that, he subtly teased going after The OTC. Could WWE re-ignite the blockbuster feud? Only time will tell.
