WWE Changed Tiffany Stratton’s Original Plans For SummerSlam

Tiffany Stratton will be in a different match at WWE SummerSlam instead of what was originally planned for her. 

The Women’s United States Champion Tiffany Stratton is from Minnesota, so she’ll be in her home state when WWE presents SummerSlam from Minneapolis on August 1st and August 2nd.

As one of the top female stars on the SmackDown brand, it makes a lot of sense to feature a superstar like Stratton, who had a long run as the WWE Women’s Champion in 2025 and won more gold this year as the Women’s US Champion.

It has been reported by Cory Hays of False Finish that “Tiffany Stratton vs Blake Monroe was the initial plan for the Women’s United States Championship at #SummerSlam.”

Blake Monroe has yet to have a match on SmackDown, but she has done sneak attacks on numerous women on the blue brand.

On the July 17th edition of WWE SmackDown, Tiffany Stratton defeated Jacy Jayne in a match to qualify for a Ladder Match at SummerSlam to crown the Interim WWE Women’s US Champion.

The reason for the Ladder Match is that the WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, is dealing with a knee injury. Rather than strip Ripley of her title, WWE plans to crown an Interim WWE Women’s Champion, and then that woman will face Ripley whenever Ripley is ready to crown the champion.

In addition to Stratton, Jade Cargill has qualified for the Ladder Match at SummerSlam. There will be three more qualifiers that have yet to be determined.

Tiffany Stratton Is Focused On WWE Career, But Also Open To Hollywood Possibilities

As a WWE superstar in her physical prime and with the looks of a Hollywood starlet, many people who follow Tiffany Stratton in WWE think it’s only a matter of time until Hollywood comes calling for her, even though she’s only been in WWE for less than five years.

During a recent interview, Tiffany Stratton revealed that while she’s open to a Hollywood career, she enjoys being a WWE superstar.

“My main focus right now is wrestling and I feel like that is my main focus for a while. if Hollywood ever does knock on my door, I’m not going to say no, but my main focus is wrestling and trying to develop my character and my in-ring.

I want to be considered one of the best female wrestlers in the world one day. Until then, I will be the best Tiffy Time wrestler. Maybe a side quest.”
