Triple H To Be Replaced As Head Of WWE Creative?
Triple H is the current head of creative in WWE.
Before The Game, Vince McMahon was the one who held the reins of WWE creative. But in 2024, he resigned from his position following allegations of sex trafficking and sexual assault from former WWE employee Janel Grant.
Both parties in the Vince McMahon-Janel Grant lawsuit have filed a joint status report in Connecticut this week, agreeing to arbitrate privately. Therefore, Grant is set to file a stipulation of voluntary dismissal with prejudice within five business days, ending the public federal court action entirely.
This new development has led the fans to speculate whether it will lead to the WWE return of Mr. McMahon. Wrestling Observer‘s Dave Meltzer recently provided a report on the matter.
Vince McMahon Will Not Replace Triple H If He Returns To WWE
According to Dave Meltzer, WWE might bring Vince McMahon back, but he certainly won’t replace HHH or Nick Khan in WWE.
As far as bringing him (Vince McMahon) back, that’s a whole other story. I don’t know. It would not shock me if he was brought back in a position—just to do what, I don’t know. They may do it. It wouldn’t shock me. I wouldn’t expect it. But I cannot imagine he would be put in charge of anything.
It’s not like they’re going to have him replace Nick Khan calling the shots. He certainly isn’t going to replace Paul Levesque doing the booking, and there’s no way they can go back to that. That’s not going to happen.”
Elsewhere, Jim Ross, in his Grilling JR podcast, stated that Mr. McMahon “isn’t out of the game,” suggesting that he’ll be in the wrestling world sooner or later. Check out Ross’ full comments here.
