WWE CCO Triple H Reveals His Honest Opinion Of Chelsea Green
Chelsea Green inadvertently became a topic of discussion when Season 2 of WWE: Unreal dropped in January 2026.
Green has been a member of SmackDown since 2024, where she has won the Women’s United States Championship twice. Fans also know her to be one of the most opportunistic talents on the company’s roster, who loves to squeeze as much value from her appearances as possible.
A couple of months ago, she was seen on television across multiple SmackDown episodes despite her leg being in a cast due to an injury she sustained while wrestling.
Nevertheless, a segment on Season 2 of Unreal came under heavy criticism from fans after Vice President of Creative & Booking, Michael Hayes, said that her television character is more suited to pushing other talented wrestlers than being in the spotlight herself.
Another piece of footage showed Brian “Road Dogg” James advocating for Green’s elevation, only for his idea to be challenged by Triple H.
The 35-year-old later broke her silence on the controversial segment, acknowledging that she was not a “chosen one” in wrestling. She further stated that that exact quality was what made her relatable to the audience.
Since then, many former wrestlers, including The Undertaker, have spoken in support of Chelsea Green, claiming that she deserves the spotlight.

Whether or not WWE has taken notes from its criticism of Chelsea Green remains to be seen, considering she has not done anything significant on SmackDown since January.
Her injury earlier this year could also be the reason why the company is not immediately pushing her. She is currently featured in a tag team scenario with Tiffany Stratton, who is the reigning Women’s United States Champion.
Meanwhile, Season 3 of WWE: Unreal dropped on Netflix yesterday.
In the third episode, Chief Content Officer Triple H spoke about her status in the promotion, where he endorsed her character as someone who is at the top of the list.
