Condolences To Ex-WWE Personality Pat McAfee And His Family
Heartfelt condolences go out to the former WWE performer, Pat McAfee, and his family.
Pat McAfee served as a color commentator in the WWE for several years and also wrestled a few matches during his time there. Heading into WrestleMania 42 earlier this year, McAfee joined forces with Randy Orton ahead of Randy’s Undisputed WWE title match against Cody Rhodes. Pat had also promised that he would leave if Randy lost at Mania.
Randy Orton ended up losing to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42, and Pat McAfee is apparently done with the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut. Meanwhile, McAfee suffered a sad loss.
Pat McAfee and his family are saddened by a personal loss
Taking to her Instagram handle, Pat McAfee’s wife, Samantha McAfee, shared a heartbreaking post, revealing their beloved cat, Theodore (aka Teddy), sadly passed away after suffering a stroke:
After suffering from a stroke resulting in the inability to move, control his bladder and not eating. Our sweet Theodore also known as Teddy Bear or Teddy Ten Toes, has crossed the Rainbow Bridge peacefully at home. 🌈🐾”
Samantha McAfee also recalled when she brought Teddy home and how much they loved him:
I brought Teddy home when he was just 8 weeks old and from that day on he was by my side through every season of life. He wasn’t just a cat; he was my first pet on my own, he was a family member and one of my greatest comforts. He has been my constant for 17 years, just under half of my life.”
Teddy had such a fun loving personality, turning dog lovers into atleast a cat lover. He loved cold water, laying in the sun and cuddles. He also never turned down a good meal, making him one of the chonkiest cats to ever exist and we loved every bit of him!”
Samantha concluded that her home his quiet without Teddy despite having two kids and five more pets:
Even with 2 kids and 5 other pets, the house somehow feels quieter now esp following the loss of Valerie. There’s this emptiness with every opening of a water bottle, walking room to room and he’s not there, sleeping without his purr sound next to me. Who knew a cat would have such an impact on me.”
