Female WWE Star Refused To Kiss CM Punk To Avoid Giving “Fetish Sites” Material

If CM Punk’s interviews or in-ring segments with his wife, AJ Lee, are anything to go by, it is evident that he is a romantic.

Punk’s comments about Lee gained more prominence after she returned to WWE in September 2025, which led to the couple feuding with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.

This set up a mixed tag team match between them at Wrestlepalooza, where Lee forced Lynch to tap out, winning the match for her team.

Lee then continued her feud with the Irish superstar, who, at the time, was the Women’s Intercontinental Champion. CM Punk, meanwhile, chased his aspiration to become a world champion again, which he achieved a couple of months later at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

He subsequently defeated Bron Breakker, Finn Balor, and AJ Styles, who staked their claims to the title. After defeating Styles, WWE looked for another challenger as Balor stepped up again.

Punk’s initial victory over Balor came in the latter’s home country of Northern Ireland. The Irish wrestler challenged Punk for the championship at Elimination Chamber, which would take place in The Second City Saint’s hometown of Chicago. Punk accepted.

During their match, CM Punk got busted open at some point, but put up great resistance while being on the defense. He went on to defeat Balor by hitting his Go to Sleep finisher.

After the match, AJ Lee ran out to the ring, holding the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, which she had won earlier in the night by beating Becky Lynch.

While speaking on Episode 4 of WWE: Unreal Season 3, Lee and Punk spoke about their in-ring segment at Elimination Chamber, where she avoided kissing him for a specific reason.

Punk: She wouldn’t kiss me ’cause I was bleeding.

AJ Lee: We were not trying to give the fetish sites any material. Mmm… not for free.

WWE Hall Of Famer AJ Styles Praises CM Punk’s Physical Transformation

CM Punk took a nearly 3-month hiatus after dropping the World Heavyweight Championship to Roman Reigns at WWE WrestleMania.

At one point during his time away, an image of his physical transformation surfaced online, showing him ripped. It sparked speculation online among fans, with some calling him out for using enhancement products despite following a straightedge lifestyle, while another section defended him.

During a recent episode of his The Phenomenally Retro Podcast, WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles praised the 47-year-old on his chiseled physique.

Quick aside, Punk looks amazing, man. Whatever he is doing, man… it is crazy how sometimes when you get the opportunity to focus on yourself and not be on the road, you know, man, it does wonders for you. You know, get someone to help you with your diet because a lot of times it didn’t matter if somebody was helping you with your diet, you’re still going to have to eat fast food because you’re on the road so much.

And having that time to focus on you and get the proper nutrition that you need and all these things that you can do to get your body feeling better… I get it. I do. He looks amazing. Amazing.
