Why WWE Rejected Logan Paul’s Request To Fight Conor McGregor

Logan Paul revealed how WWE rejected his pitch to fight Conor McGregor.

Conor McGregor is considered a legend in MMA, as his career began in 2008 and he won many accolades throughout it. There has been speculation in the past that the former UFC Champion could make the move to WWE as well.

On the other hand, Logan Paul has been performing in WWE since 2022 and is currently one of the biggest stars in the company. The Maverick recently expressed the desire to fight Conor McGregor in the Sports Entertainment Juggernaut.

Speaking on his Impaulsive podcast recently, Logan Paul disclosed that he had texted his boss about fighting Conor McGregor in WWE after Conor lost his recent UFC match:

I’ll be honest with you. I texted my boss after Conor lost. I was like, ‘Bro, Conor’s cooked. Do something with it. Make a bag. Let me fight him. Big WWE star versus big WWE star, because that’s what he is now.’”

Logan further revealed that his boss refused the idea, saying Conor McGregor said he is done:

Logan Paul on how long he wants to wrestle in WWE

While speaking on The Stephen A. Smith Show recently, Logan Paul opened up on his love for WWE, stating the following:

I’m still kind of figuring it out. I love collectibles. I’m making a play in the collectible industry right now, but WWE is my focus, and and I’m I don’t even I don’t even know what I would like to do otherwise. I’d find something. I like creating, and in the WWE, I get to create.”

I get to make people feel. I get to tell stories and paint on the canvas that is the map, and build these matches and use my body to express the story that we’re trying to tell.”

Logan also assured that he wants to continue performing in WWE as long as he can:

I find it all very beautiful, and I really enjoy it. So, dude, I’ll be doing it as long as I possibly can, and man, you mentioned my brother like I couldn’t be more proud of him because he’s just changing the game in more way more ways than one.”

Logan Paul has been out of action due to injury since May. Only time will tell when The Maverick will be back in in-ring action.
