Amid their television absence, a top WWE talent revealed getting pulled over by the police last month for speeding.

Nikki Bella’s last match was on the March 27 edition of SmackDown, where she teamed up with her sister Brie to face Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair.

The match saw interference from Nia Jax and Lash Legend, which led to the Bella Twins winning after Brie performed a rollup pin on Bliss.

The segment also featured a post-match brawl, with Bayley and Lyra Valkyria adding themselves to the mix. However, eagle-eyed fans noticed Jax helping Nikki exit the ring carefully despite the two being rivals.

It was later confirmed that she had sustained a legitimate injury, for which she underwent surgery. The surgery resulted in Nikki being replaced by the returning Paige at WWE WrestleMania 42.

Nikki Bella recently shared that her missing the company’s European tour allowed her to get X-rays done earlier than she had hoped, thus expediting her recovery process.

The one thing that was the blessing, you know, when I originally had my trip booked to meet Brie, every night I’d wake up with anxiety about this trip. So that’s when I started to know it wasn’t a right time for me to go to Tuscany, and being home, I’ve realized that I’ve really just have been hardworking at my workouts and recovery and just getting really good news along the way, how much stronger I am, just everything looks great.

I’m getting my X-rays done I think a week earlier, I’ll start to just get in the ring and dabble on how that feels. But everything’s just looking really strong and healthy and I felt like I had to be home.

There is no timeline provided on Nikki Bella’s WWE return at the moment. Elsewhere, during an interview, she spoke about her future after her current deal expires.

WWE Hall Of Famer Nikki Bella Pulled Over By Cops Twice

While Nikki Bella continues to focus on her return to WWE, things have not necessarily gone in her favor outside the ring.

Speaking on a recent episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, the 42-year-old former champion revealed getting pulled over by cops twice last month for speeding.

Okay, I’m not going to lie. I had been pulled over twice this past month for speeding. Very shocking. By the way, one was so uncalled for. He was going, ‘You were going 41 in a 25.’ And I go, ‘I was going like 35.’ But anyway, I’m not gonna argue, but I did tell him that I disagree.

But then I just got pulled over again in Virginia, and he goes, ‘You were going 75 in a 55.’ And I was like, ‘Actually, no. I was going 70.’ Then I was like, ‘Where was the sign?’ It was a freeway in the woods.’… It’s not the end of the month. Do you really need a ticket? But I got two tickets. H/T: Sportskeeda
