Major AEW Star Expected To Join WWE Soon
AEW star Big Bill (fka Big Cass) is reportedly expected to jump ship to WWE soon.
Big Bill has been absent from AEW television since February 2026. The last time All Elite fans saw him on TV was on the February 4 edition of AEW Collision, where he wrestled in an eight-man tag team parking lot fight.
Fightful Select recently revealed that Big Bill, who joined AEW in 2022, has a contract set to expire in the first week of July. He won’t be re-signing with AEW since he has officially given notice to Tony Khan. This would conclude his four-year stint with the company.
The report indicates that after he leaves AEW and becomes a free agent, he is expected to return to WWE. But Big Bill won’t be returning to WWE alone. The Stamford-based promotion plans to bring him back alongside his ex-tag team partner.
Big Cass Reportedly Set To Reunite With Enzo Amore In WWE After AEW Exit
Ahead of WWE NXT’s taping on May 19, False Finish reported that Enzo Amore was spotted at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Self Made Sessions noted that Amore could return to WWE after eight years.
A few days later, WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select then informed the wrestling universe that WWE is interested in bringing Enzo Amore and Big Cass back in the company and reuniting the pair.
The report mentioned that Enzo Amore and Big Cass have successfully maintained strong and friendly relationships with multiple producers backstage in WWE, several of whom have a history of working with the duo since their NXT tenure.
WWE wants to bring Enzo Amore and Big Cass back together instead of separately. Hence, Triple H and co. have been patiently waiting for Big Cass’ AEW contract to expire before they do so.
