WWE CCO Triple H Called Out By Ex-Employee: “He’s F****** Himself Over”
Former WWE commentator and backstage interviewer Jonathan Coachman calls out WWE CCO Triple H for his “confusing” booking.
Oba Femi defeated Jey Uso to become the King of the Ring at Night of Champions. Femi was a fan favorite to win the tournament, and the WWE Universe was under the impression that he would likely go after Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Championship following his victory.
But on this past Monday Night Raw, Brock Lesnar made a surprise appearance and attacked Oba Femi, which led to The Ruler challenging The Beast Incarnate to a match at SummerSlam. The match is going to be a Hell in a Cell, as per Brock Lesnar’s wishes.
Jonathan Coachman Questions Oba Femi’s Booking For WWE SummerSlam
Speaking about WWE’s SummerSlam plans regarding Oba Femi on the 2 Count Tuesday podcast, Jonathan Coachman expressed dissatisfaction over the confusing booking. Coachman said that Triple H’s desire to keep things unpredictable has led him to create confusing storylines in WWE.
Coachman highlighted that Femi was supposed to challenge for a world title after winning the King of the Ring tournament, but he’s not, which defeats the entire purpose of his KOTR victory.
You know what they did? They really made everything more confusing for themselves because they want so vehemently to go against what the internet thinks and knows. We know everything before it happens.
And Triple H is trying so hard to sway us away in a different direction. Now he’s f******* himself over, and now he’s made everything more confusing because he wants to keep it unpredictable.
Boy, you know, they’re sitting on that jet just laughing. ‘Oh, we got them. We got them. We got them. Oh, wait… we’ve got to figure out why he doesn’t go after Roman Reigns.'”
While Oba Femi will challenge Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns will put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against his former Shield brother Seth Rollins.
Both these matches were officially added to the SummerSlam match card following the events of Monday Night Raw this week.
