WWE Could Strip Liv Morgan Of Her Title For One Reason

According to a new report, Liv Morgan could be stripped of her WWE Women’s World title for a huge reason.

Liv Morgan won this year’s women’s Royal Rumble match in January and went on to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World title at WrestleMania 42. Morgan ended up capturing the title at Mania by dethroning Vaquer as well. However, Liv has yet to defend her title for over two months since winning it.

Liv Morgan is also participating in the ongoing Queen of the Ring tournament despite already holding the Women’s World Championship. On the recent episode of SmackDown, Liv defeated Charlotte Flair in the semi-finals to advance to the final of the tournament. Meanwhile, Morgan’s Women’s World title reign could be in jeopardy following a potential injury.

At a recent WWE house show in Birmingham, Liv Morgan seemingly sustained an injury following a botched springboard spot, in which Sol Ruca accidentally landed on her leg. Liv ended up picking the win over Sol, Iyo Sky, and Lyra Valkyria in a fatal-4-way match despite the botch at the live event.

According to an exclusive report by Sportskeeda Wrestling, WWE may have to take the Women’s World title off Liv Morgan if she suffered a bad injury. But they don’t want to do that, considering Liv has yet to defend her title since winning it:

In case it’s a bad injury, they will definitely have to take the title off her, and they don’t want to do that given she’s not defended it in a big way since winning, thanks to Stephanie being out hurt at the moment.”

The report further stated that Liv Morgan’s leg is still being evaluated, but she is not worried, as it’s not too bad, according to her. The report concluded that things could change with RAW this Monday:

Evaluations are still ongoing for Liv’s leg. The botch was unfortunate, and no one saw it coming, but that’s one of the risks with these house shows that you have to take. Rhea being injured and now Liv being hurt is not something anyone was happy about.”
