Former WWE Stars To Make AEW Debut On Collision

AEW President Tony Khan

Two former WWE Superstars are heading to AEW Collision.

It’s been announced that the Grizzled Young Veterans will make their AEW debuts on the April 27th episode of Collision.

James Drake & Zack Gibson left WWE in September 2023 after letting their contracts expire. The pair had joined the company back in 2018 and went on to compete in NXT UK and then NXT in the United States.

Since leaving WWE Drake and Gibson have returned to the independent scene and stopped off in TNA Wrestling, but it’s now been revealed they’ll land in All Elite Wrestling in the coming days. In a promo posted on social media, the former NXT UK Tag Team Champions called out The Acclaimed.

Tony Khan Assaulted On AEW Dynamite

It’s been a wild week for All Elite Wrestling. Just days after crowning a new World Champion, company President Tony Khan was attacked and left beaten down on Dynamite by The Elite.

In the main event segment, Khan and Jack Perry came face to face in the ring, and despite initially appearing to be on the same page, Perry punched his boss. In front of a shocked crowd The Elite then came out to hit Khan with a Meltzer Driver.

With Khan lying destroyed in the ring, he was surrounded by referees and other officials, before his father Shad Khan came to check on his son.

Elsewhere on Collision, new World Champion Swerve Strickland will address fans, while in the ring, Tony Storm takes on Anna Jay and Bullet Club Gold defend their World Trios Titles against Action Andretti and Top Flight.
