BREAKING: Jon Moxley Suffers Massive Blow At AEW Redemption 2026

AEW Redemption featured some highly exciting matches on the card as Tony Khan looked to make a huge statement with this new pay-per-view.

The night began with a huge six-man ladder match that saw Speedball Mike Bailey win the contract to become the new number one contender for the AEW International Title.

A huge tag team match followed Speedball’s triumph as Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay teamed up to take on The Young Bucks after heated interactions in the last few weeks.

These four men broke into a huge brawl during Dynamite this past week, and things spilled over to Redemption, where they took their frustrations out.

The Bucks began the match on the front foot as their high-flying action took Moxley and Ospreay by surprise. They proved themselves as one of the best tag teams in the world in the early stages.

However, a sneak attack from Moxley, which left Nick Jackson knocked out on the floor, turned the favor towards the Death Riders, with Marina Shafir playing her part well.

Ospreay took control of the match as it became a two-on-one for a while, and Moxley hit a package piledriver on Nick Jackson onto the floor.

The Bucks began to get back into the fight after taking out Ospreay, but as they went to hit the Meltzer Driver on him, Mox pulled one of the Jacksons from the apron.

Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay butt heads at AEW Redemption

They recovered and looked to hit one on Moxley this time, but Ospreay caught one Jackson brother mid-air as he delivered a Styles Clash while Mox hit another piledriver.

The match delved into chaos after a mishit from Ospreay to Mox, and the chaos ended with everyone taking one another out. The Jacksons then hit the BTE Trigger on Moxley and covered him.

However, Ospreay came in with the save as he hit the Hidden Blade to break the pin. Ospreay then hit multiple heel kicks on Nick Jackson before taking him out with a huge elbow strike to the head.

Multiple piledrivers from Moxley onto the floor injured Nick Jackson’s neck, and the elbow strike almost ended the match. However, Ospreay hesitated to attack more as Matt came to protect his brother.

Mox tagged himself in, threw Matt out of the ring, and hit the Stomp on Nick. Mox went for the pin, but Nick somehow kicked out, frustrating Jon.

This pushed Moxley over the edge, and he hit three Paradigm Shifts to Nick. He then went to attack his neck with a steel chair, but Will Ospreay stopped him.

Just as Ospreay took the chair from him, Matt Jackson Superkicked the chair to the former AEW International Champion’s face.

The Young Bucks then hit Mox with multiple BTE Triggers and Superkicks to knock Moxley out and pin him to pick up the win.
