A former WWE champion’s in-ring career will come to an end at SummerSlam, according to a legend.

Multiple high-stakes matches are set to take place at The Biggest Party of the Summer this year. One of those is Oba Femi versus Brock Lesnar inside Hell in a Cell on Night One of the event.

Femi and Lesnar’s feud has been a topic of much discussion in 2026. The Ruler stunned everyone by defeating The Beast Incarnate at WrestleMania 42, leading to the latter’s “retirement.” That turned out to be a ruse, and Brock Lesnar ended up handing Oba Femi a loss at Clash in Italy.

While it briefly looked like Femi would battle for a world championship at SummerSlam as he became the 2026 King of the Ring, the re-emergence of Lesnar changed things. Oba Femi gave up his title opportunity for a chance to settle things with Brock Lesnar, once and for all.

WWE legend comments on Oba Femi vs. Brock Lesnar III

There has been some speculation that Brock Lesnar may retire following his match against Oba Femi this Saturday. Speaking during his interview with Casino.org, Mark Henry shared his thoughts on how the trilogy between Femi and Lesnar is likely going to conclude.

The WWE legend believes that The Ruler will emerge as the victor, and The Beast Incarnate will retire for real at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

I would think that this would be Oba Femi’s coming out party. Brock has served a lot of time and done a lot of good in the pro wrestling world, so there’s no need for him to take any punishment, but I think Oba Femi beats him at SummerSlam. I think Brock will retire after the event. I think that this is it for him.

Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi are set for a weigh-in segment on tonight’s RAW, with Triple H overseeing things. Could either man get the upperhand ahead of WWE SummerSlam? Only time will tell.
