Likely Sign Kairi Sane Is Joining AEW Following WWE Release

Kairi Sane was released earlier this year on April 24, among 20+ other talents, as part of the post-WrestleMania releases.

Her sudden departure marked the abrupt ending of her storyline with Asuka and IYO SKY. The storyline showed Asuka being jealous of IYO’s friendship with Rhea Ripley, and Kairi stuck between her two best friends, IYO and Asuka.

Even after Kairi’s departure news became official, fans still hoped to see her return to finish off her long-standing storyline, but alas, she didn’t.

Since Kairi was released on April 24, she became a free agent on July 24 after the end of her 90-day non-compete clause. Now, she is free to join any promotion she likes.

Ex-WWE Star Kairi Sane To Become All Elite Soon?

Word on the street is that she might be heading to WWE’s rival promotion, AEW. Through a tweet on X/Twitter, Self Made AO has highlighted a major sign that Sane is likely on her way to join Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling.

The tweet pointed out that Barry Bloom, who represents top AEW stars like Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, The Young Bucks, HOOK, Josh Alexander, Jim Ross, and more, is now also representing Kairi Sane.

Sane recently updated her Twitter and Instagram bios, where she listed Barry Bloom as her manager and contact for inquiries. This couldn’t just be a mere coincidence, as many people believe AEW is Kairi’s next destination.

Self Made AO tweeted, “Kairi Sane’s is now being represented by Barry Bloom! Barry represent stars such as Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Will Ospreay, The Young Bucks, HOOK, Josh Alexander, Jim Ross, and more.”

Reports indicated that WWE released Kairi Sane because she had expressed her desire to move back to Japan. However, Sane noted on social media that she “never walked away” and still loves the work.
