A huge night of action was planned for AEW Redemption as the first-ever edition of the pay-per-view took place at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

The night featured two brutal non-title tag team matches, involving some of the biggest factions on the roster. Jon Moxley suffered a tough loss in the first one, while Jay White was involved in the other.

Jay White and Juice Robinson of the Bang Bang Gang took on The Dogs in a Double Chain Tag Team match. The Dogs jumped them in the ring before the bell rang and took the advantage.

However, once they attached the chains to White and Robinson, the Bang Bang Gang took control as they used the chains to their advantage.

They unleashed brutal attacks with the help of the chains and assaulted the Dogs while on the outside of the ring. Clarke Connors and David Finlay used the chains to get back into the match, ultimately.

They isolated White from Robinson and began taking control of the match once again. Both teams were brutal and vicious in their efforts to pick up the win at AEW Redemption.

The animosity between the two teams was clearly visible in the fight before The Dogs got some help from their allies, the Death Riders.

As the Bang Bang Gang seemed to go for the win, Wheeler Yuta and Daniel Garcia came out and attacked them, distracting them from The Dogs.

The rest of the Bang Bang Gang then rushed out, and a huge brawl broke out between Garcia, Yuta, Ace Austin, and Colten Gunn.

During the chaos, Marina Shafir handed the Shillelagh to Finlay, unknown to the Bang Bang Gang. With White occupied, David Finlay smashed the Shillelagh into Juice’s head and pinned him to pick up the win on AEW Redemption.
