Thekla Reveals Truth About Dating AEW Star: “Everybody’s Good-Looking And H*rny”

Thekla has finally addressed the rumors suggesting she is dating a fellow AEW star.

The current AEW Women’s World Champion has been an active competitor in Tony Khan’s promotion since May 2025. Clark Connors has also been performing in AEW over the past 15 months.

Thekla and Connors have previously worked together as a mixed tag team, “Clark & Tex.” Meanwhile, rumors suggested the two were dating in real life.

In an interview with TMZ’s Inside the Ring, Thekla addressed her real-life relationship with Clark Connors, after the hosts mentioned they were dating.

Thekla Denies Dating Her Former Tag Partner

The AEW Women’s World Champion wondered where that rumor came from, denying that she dated the former AEW World Trios Champion. Thekla, however, admitted that they are very close.

Well, I don’t know where you actually picked that up from, that we’re dating. We’re very close.

When one of the hosts claimed they picked up the rumor from the internet, the 33-year-old AEW star did not hold back.

Oh, did you? Well, name everything you see on the internet.

The conversation then shifted towards whether wrestlers dating within each other was a good idea. The AEW Women’s World Champion admitted that she was not sure.

I think I’m not sure if it’s a good idea, per se. Everybody’s good-looking and h*rny from what I can tell. It’s obviously hard to probably date somebody who isn’t immersed in your world as we live very strange lives as professional wrestlers. So, I wouldn’t want to, you know, it’s hard to explain all that, all the travel and all the h*rniness. [H/T: Ringside News]
