Should Zilla Fatu Join The Bloodline Upon Rumored WWE Arrival?
Zilla Fatu is rumored to join his cousins in WWE.
The 26-year-old is the son of the late WWE legend Umaga. He is also the first cousin of The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Jacob Fatu, while Roman Reigns is his first cousin once removed.
The real-life Bloodline member kicked off his wrestling career nearly three years ago, joining Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling promotion. He is currently active on the independent circuit, with rumors suggesting he could be on his way to WWE.
Amid the ongoing speculation, many fans have been wondering whether Zilla will join The Bloodline alongside his cousins. Reigns recently reunited the faction. Despite Sikoa refusing to rejoin the group, The OTC recruited The Samoan Werewolf after beating him in Tribal Combat.
Zilla Fatu Should Not Join The Bloodline, Says WWE Analyst
During a recent episode of his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts was asked by a fan whether Zilla Fatu should join the main roster upon his potential arrival to the company or head to NXT instead.
Roberts noted that he would prefer to see Umaga’s son build his character in NXT before moving to the main roster.
I think I’d like to see Zilla in NXT. I think that that did amazing things for Solo Sikoa. I think the idea of building up Zilla Fatu and building up Zilla Fatu and building up Zilla Fatu over on NXT, maybe you change his name, maybe you don’t, but you familiarize the WWE audience with him. You know, I think that a lot of Tongans showed up on the main roster that nobody had even seen before and the context was not there to make it count.
Jacob Fatu was a bit of a different story, but I think that between JC Matteo and Tonga Loa and, like, it’s like when people show up on the main roster that maybe like you or I might know, but the audience at large doesn’t know. And also Zilla’s young. You know, I don’t know if it would be the best thing in the world to put him on the main roster, right? I’d love to see him in NXT. (58:02 onwards)
