WWE The IIconics

An IIconic podcast is set to return.

Jessica McKay [FKA Billie Kay] and Cassie Lee [FKA Peyton Royce] have announced that their Off Her Chops podcast will be making its return on the new home of The Premier Streaming Network. The first episode of the new series is set to air on August 4th.

The show originally ran from May 2021 until the final episode aired in December of that year.

Both McKay and Lee have commented on the return of the podcast in a press release issued by Premier Streaming Network, with the former WWE Superstars being very excited to return to the audio realm:

“Pork Chops! ‘Off Her Chops is back for Season Three,” said McKay. “We are incredibly excited to give our Pork Chops great new content, and love that we are working with Premier to make it happen.”

“After stepping away for a year, which we will talk about, we are coming into Season Three with a bang,” added Lee. “We are very grateful to be partnering with Premier Streaming Network to provide this incredible new season of ‘Off Her Chops.’”

Also in the announcement, Premier Streaming Network Chief Content Officer Josh Shernoff stated how happy he is that McKay and Lee chose their network as the platform to relaunch Off Her Chops:

“When we launched Premier Podcast Network, we wanted to provide our fans with another exciting medium to enjoy the great content Premier+ has to offer, and ‘Off Her Chops’ is sure to deliver for our audience,” said Josh Shernoff, Chief Content Officer for Premier Streaming Network. “Anytime Cassie and Jessica have open microphones and a camera, fans know they are in for a treat. These two ladies are extremely talented and hilarious, and we are honored that they chose Premier as their platform to revive their show.”

What Happened To Former WWE Superstars The IIconics?

Billie Kay and Peyton Royce were signed to WWE in 2015, first wrestling for the NXT brand before being called up to the main roster in 2018. Making an impact upon their debut, the duo would attack Charlotte Flair to allow Carmella to successfully cash-in the Money in the Bank briefcase and become the new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

The highlight of The IIconic’s career would come at Wrestlemania 35, where Kay and Royce would become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. After losing the titles later that year, the partnership would come to an end in 2020 when the team was forced to split after losing a tag team match to The Riott Squad.

In 2021, days after WrestleMania, it was announced that both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce had been released from their contracts due to WWE budget cuts. The former champions would go on to sign with IMPACT Wrestling, debuting at The Bound For Glory pay-per-view, now known as The IInspiration. The tag team would once again become champions, capturing the Knockouts Titles at the show.

The IInspiration’s in-ring career would go on hiatus in April 2022, announcing the end of the partnership with IMPACT Wrestling.
