Former WWE Champion Returns To Blindside Ex-Partner On NXT

WWE NXT had some exciting matches in store for its fans with two massive number one contenders’ matches that were scheduled for tonight, in addition to a title match in the main event of the show.

One of the matches that didn’t have any implications on the title picture saw The Culling’s Niko Vance take on Shiloh Hill. Vance only had Izzi by his side for the match after the duo had turned on Shawn Spears.

Spears used to be an integral member of the group before the other two got frustrated with him and kicked him out of the group. Spears had cost both Izzi and Niko in important matches before being thrown out of The Culling.

Niko Vances picks up a major WWE NXT win

The former AEW star was taken out on the June 23, 2026, edition of the episode, where Niko Vance chokeslamed him through the table. After recovering from his injury, Spears arrived to take his revenge on his former partner.

Vance wrestled a tough match with Shiloh before Tristan Angels distracted him and cost him the match. As Vance celebrated along with Izzi Dame, Spears snuck up behind them.

He took Niko out with a massive chair shot before looking towards Izzi with a deranged look. With Spears’ attack on Vance, it seems that the story between the two former WWE partners is far from over.
