Zaria Learns Her Next NXT Women’s North American Title Challenger

NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria defeated Tatum Paxley to finally get her hands on the belt a little over a month back. She then faced Paxley for the title once again at the Great American Bash.

Zaria emerged victorious once again at the Premium Live Event and was now in need of new challenges, as it seemed that Paxley had ended her pursuit of the title following this loss.

NXT General Manager then announced a massive fatal-four-way match tonight to determine Zaria’s next challenger. Former Champions like Thea Hail and Izzi Dame competed in the match against Layla Diggs and Lizzy Rain.

NXT Women’s North American Title Picture might change

All four women seemed pretty evenly matched, and it was becoming increasingly difficult to predict the eventual winner. All wrestlers had a shining moment of their own before the match ended.

As the match headed towards the end, multiple pin attempts were broken by almost all of the competitors. Izzi Dame, who had come close to winning multiple times, then began brawling with Lizzy Rain.

Rain was then caught with a surprise pin from Thea Hail, but she reversed it and hit the Thunderstruck to Hail’s head. However, before she could go for the pin, Izzi Dame took Rain out with a running knee.

As Lizzy lay knocked out in the middle of the ring, Layla Diggs hit a massive moonsault on Lizzy to pin her in the ring. With this win, she becomes the new number one contender for the Women’s North American Championship.
