Adam Pearce Announces 3 Blockbuster Title Matches For WWE RAW
Adam Pearce has made blockbuster announcements ahead of WWE RAW.
The upcoming episode of the Monday night show at the Allstate Arena in Chicago is just around the corner. New Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn is set for his first defense of the gold against a familiar foe, Cody Rhodes.
RAW General Manager and acting SmackDown General Manager Adam Pearce recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to hype up tonight’s RAW with his mini-preview.
Pearce called the show “Championship Monday” as on top of Zayn vs. Rhodes, Sol Ruca will put her Women’s IC Title on the line against Raquel Rodriguez, and The Street Profits will defend the tag titles against The Vision.
Check out Adam Pearce’s full statement below:
Adam Pearce here at the Friendly Confines to let you know that Monday Night RAW is live from Sweet Home Chicago, and I am calling it Championship Monday. Three championships on the line. Sol Ruca will defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. The World Tag Team Titles are on the line as The Street Profits will battle The Vision.
And so you all know, on Friday I made it official: the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line. The American Nightmare, Cody Rhodes, will challenge the brand new champion, Sami Zayn. All that plus Oba Femi will address Hell in a Cell versus Brock [Lesnar] and Seth Freakin’ Rollins kicks off the broadcast.
It’s Monday Night RAW from Sweet Home Chicago at 8e/5p, and we are live around the world on Netflix.

Major Roman Reigns-Seth Rollins segment in WWE criticized
Last week’s edition of Monday Night RAW was very newsworthy. Brock Lesnar returned to the sports entertainment juggernaut to confront Oba Femi, and now, the two will battle inside Hell in a Cell at WWE SummerSlam.
Additionally, Seth Rollins emerged as the number one contender for Roman Reigns’ World Heavyweight Title at The Biggest Party of the Summer. Both former Shield members had a verbal back-and-forth segment on RAW seven days ago, however, one veteran didn’t like it.
Speaking on The Stevie Richards Show, the 54-year-old personality felt that the promo between The OTC and The Visionary was “weird” because it was seemingly not for the audience.
“It felt like the promo was for each other, not for anybody watching, which is fine, but it’s just weird. You know what’s funny is, I was like, ‘Wait a minute. What, SummerSlam’s this weekend after Saudi Arabia?’ No, this felt like a go-home type promo. Like, didn’t it feel like that to you?
It was almost like on the level of contract signing stuff, or we’re going to face off before we have our match, but no, we got a month before SummerSlam. So it was just not good.”
With Seth Rollins kicking off tonight’s RAW, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for him and Roman Reigns.
