Triple H Breaks Silence Following CM Punk’s Undisputed WWE Title Win On RAW
The WWE CCO, Triple H sent out a message after CM Punk became the Undisputed Champion on RAW this week.
CM Punk had been out of action since losing his World Heavyweight title to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 42 until his return this week. After weeks of anticipation, the Best in the World made his return on RAW in his hometown of Chicago. He replaced Cody Rhodes in the main event to challenge Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
After a great main event match, Punk surprisingly captured the Undisputed Championship right after his blockbuster return. Meanwhile, the WWE CCO and creative head, Triple H has sent a message after Punk’s major title win on RAW.
Taking to the X social media platform, Triple H shared a picture pointing towards the new WWE Champion, CM Punk. The Game also mentioned how Punk won the title in Chicago 15 years later, citing his historic title win from John Cena at Money in the Bank 2011:
Same building, 15 years later. Different opponent, same result. @CMPunk is the Undisputed @WWE Champion!!! #AndNew” Hunter wrote.

CM Punk on the thought of retirement from wrestling
In an interview earlier this year, CM Punk was asked about his retirement and a possible retirement tour. Punk addressed the retirement tours of Japanese wrestling legends and recently, John Cena:
I really don’t know. It’s big in Japanese wrestling, the retirement tour. They’ve done that over there for many, many years. It was just new to Western wrestling fans. Cena did it, and I thought it was brilliant. Saying, ‘This is the last time you’re going to get to come see me. You get to see me wrestle or appear.’”
Punk further stated that he doesn’t think that his retirement is coming anytime soon, as he doesn’t want to step away now:
With me, I really don’t know. I almost don’t like talking about it because I don’t think it’s going to be anytime soon. The way our business is, I like to keep some things shrouded in secrecy and mystery. We’ll have to wait and see. I’m trying to keep myself in one piece because I think I’m on the run of my life and doing the best work I’ve ever done. Why would I want to step away now?” said Punk.
It remains to be seen what’s next for CM Punk after he became the Undisputed WWE Champion.
