BREAKING: Cody Rhodes Leaves WWE RAW For Hospital, Concerning Health Update

Cody Rhodes’ current health status is unknown, as he was forced to leave WWE RAW to go to the hospital.

The American Nightmare was scheduled to challenge Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship tonight on Monday Night RAW after winning a number-one contender match last Friday on SmackDown against Jey Uso.

Rhodes confronted Zayn backstage earlier tonight ahead of their clash, but he was suddenly attacked by Gunther. The Ring General left the former Undisputed WWE Champion bloodied and injured after kicking a car door into his head.

Later in the show, The American Nightmare was seen being attended to by the WWE doctor backstage. Although Rhodes insisted he was ready to compete, the doctor refused to clear him unless he underwent further examination.

Cody Rhodes Is Not Cleared To Compete On WWE RAW

Michael Cole later provided an update on Cody Rhodes’ health status, revealing that The American Nightmare has left RAW to go to the hospital for the diagnostic scans the doctor wanted before clearing him to compete.

We understand now that Rhodes has left the arena to go to the hospital for the diagnostic scans that the doctor wants before he will clear Cody to compete tonight.

During a backstage interview with Sami Zayn later in the show, Jackie Redmond broke the news that Cody Rhodes was officially not medically cleared to compete tonight.
