A huge night was in store for the WWE Universe tonight at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois, as they were treated to a massive episode of Monday Night RAW.

The episode was off to a brutal start as former Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes suffered a vicious attack by Gunther. The American Nightmare is scheduled to challenge Sami Zayn in the main event tonight.

The night was officially kicked off by Seth Rollins, who welcomed the Chicago crowd before going on to talk about his upcoming World Title Match with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam 2026.

LA Knight steps up to Seth Rollins on WWE RAW

As Rollins recalled his rivalry with Roman and claimed that he would win back the championship he never lost, he was confronted by a former rival of his own, LA Knight. The 43-year-old has been vocally against Roman Reigns and his Bloodline reuniting for the last few weeks.

He claimed that he is more worthy of earning a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship currently, as Rollins hasn’t done a lot to warrant a title match right now. Seth gave Knight his flowers and claimed that his time will come in the future.

However, its Rollins’ time right now and that he would be happy to have Knight become his first challenger after he defeats Roman. Just as Rollins walked out, Knight was jumped by Jimmy Uso from behind, who took him out with a Superkick following the events of last week.
