WWE got a suggestion to change Bron Breakker’s name for a major reason.

Bron Breakker has been with the WWE since 2021, and after a great run in NXT, he arrived on the main roster in 2024. The 28-year-old star has been a former two-time Intercontinental Champion on the main roster and is currently in the major faction, ‘The Vision,’ alongside Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul, and Austin Theory. Bron has been in a feud with Seth Rollins for the past few months, and the two are set to lock horns at Backlash this Saturday.

It is well known that Bron Breakker is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Rick Steiner. During a promo segment two weeks ago on RAW, Seth Rollins referred to Bron as ‘Steiner’ as well. Meanwhile, Kevin Nash wants the Stamford-based promotion to rename Bron Breakker.

WWE should change Bron Breakker’s name for a specific reason

Speaking on his Kliq This podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer, Kevin Nash recalled Seth Rollins calling him a Steiner during a promo and urged the creative to change Bron Breakker’s name to ‘Bron Steiner,’ because he is the son of Rick Steiner:

I saw, or actually heard, Seth call him Steiner, and it’s like, when is the WWE going to realize that he is a Steiner? He’s Bronson Rick Steiner. Why don’t I just call him Bron Steiner? Bron Breakker sounds like something I watched on a cartoon in 1971.”

Kevin Nash further weighed in on why Bron should be called ‘Steiner’:

Bron Breakker. And maybe they thought that’s the direction that he’d go, but now that it’s been refined, and he held his nose and did this… the voice. It’s just like, come on, man. The guy can do it all. He looks like a million bucks. He can talk, he can definitely do the walk. So it’s just like, let the boy Boogie Woogie. Let him be Steiner.”

Nash concluded by recalling Bron’s storyline with Joe Gacy from NXT, where his father, Rick Steiner, was involved:

If you’re gonna make reference to it, if you’re gonna make reference to his uncle and his father, then… Early in his career, he did stuff with his father. You know, where they had Robbie tied up or some sh*t.” [h/t WrestlingNews.co]

It will be interesting to see if WWE will listen to the suggestion by Kevin Nash.
