Future Of Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker’s WWE Feud Predicted
WWE originally planned the match between Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker for WrestleMania 42.
However, they ultimately chose not to book it for the premium live event due to improper build-up. As a result, the feud is set to continue until WWE Backlash 2026, where the two will face each other in a singles match.
On this week’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Rollins and Breakker engaged in a heated in-ring confrontation. Rollins called out Breakker, accusing him of costing him the World Heavyweight Championship and his WrestleMania 42 main event opportunity.
Bron Breakker, who was accompanied by Paul Heyman, mocked Seth Rollins’ leadership, calling him “the best in the world at being number two.”
The two traded verbal shots before Rollins issued a challenge for a singles match at Backlash on May 9, which Breakker accepted. Later in the show, the match was made official for the upcoming premium live event.
Seth Rollins Vs Bron Breakker Feud To Continue Beyond Backlash, Says Veteran Tommy Carlucci
Speaking on The Last Word podcast, WWE veteran Tommy Carlucci predicted the future of the feud. He stated that WWE is likely to build the rivalry all the way to SummerSlam 2026.
According to Carlucci, the feud will not end at Backlash, and both Rollins and Breakker could pick up one win each before heading into a third and final match at SummerSlam.
At Backlash, I could see Bron going over and winning, beating him, going to the next pay-per-view, Seth winning, and bringing it to SummerSlam for a Hell in a Cell or a Street Fight or something like that. This feud has legs.
I don’t think it’s going to be one and done because there’s not a lot of things going on in the WWE that we’re interested in two weeks in a row. This was a ho-hum show. You just had WrestleMania, and we’re not getting anything. The only thing we’re getting now is Seth and Bron. It has legs.
Bron is getting better every week. I would continue to do this every week with these guys. We know they’re going to go at it at Backlash. Michael Cole mentioned it later on in the show. But I don’t think this is a one-and-done match for these two, and I’d like to see it move on (until SummerSlam).
I’m serious. I’d like to see this thing go all the way to SummerSlam for a final match to find out what’s going to happen between these two superstars. (From 3:22)
