Mercedes Mone And Her AEW Allies Survive A Serious Scare On Dynamite

A massive trios match was confirmed to be the main event of AEW Dynamite tonight as Mercedes Mone renewed her old rivalry on the show tonight. Ever since she joined AEW, Mone has been on a roll for most of her run.

During her time in the promotion, she has been at odds with Willow Nightingale and has faced her on multiple occasions. She defeated Nightingale to become the longest-reigning TBS Champion in the company’s history.

However, Nightingale defeated her for the belt on 2025’s final episode of Dynamite, and that started Mone’s downfall as she slowly lost all of the 13 championships she held at once.

Mercedes Mone picks up huge win on AEW Dynamite

Tonight, she faced Nightingale once again, only this time in trios action as she teamed up with the Divine Dominion. Nightingale teamed with Maya World and Hyan to face the AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions and Mone.

Mone and Divine Dominion faced some tough competition from Willow, Maya and Hyan as they pushed the heels to their limit. However, the night didn’ favor Willow and team as they ended up on the losing side.

The CEO had the last laugh as she hit Hyan with the Mone Maker to pick up the win for her side. With Willow set to challenge Thekla for the AEW Women’s Championship at Redemption, she could face Mone once again at All In.
