Truth About Former WWE Star’s Affair With Missy Hyatt Revealed By Ex-Wife

The truth about a former WWE star’s affair with Missy Hyatt has come to light.

Brutus Beefcake first came into the spotlight after he joined the WWE (then WWF) in 1984. He wrestled for the WWE between 1984 and 1993.

During his time with the sports entertainment juggernaut, Brutus experienced a bit of success and even won the WWF Tag Team Title with Greg Valentine. After his run with the WWE ended, he moved on to work for WCW between 1994 and 1996. His time in WCW is best forgotten. Brutus was known for being very good friends with Hulk Hogan. He also came into the limelight due to his affair with Missy Hyatt.

Speaking on Monte & The Pharaoh, Brutus Beefcake’s ex-wife, Barbie Leslie, revealed that her marriage with Brutus had been over for a long time. However, they found it difficult to get a divorce because they had a daughter. Barbie claimed that she and Brutus first filed for divorce when he was having an affair with Missy Hyatt. However, they got back together again.

“Our marriage was over for a long time. I know that’s the narrative that Missy says and she’s right in that respect, which is nothing I’ve ever argued with her about or anybody about. We were at a spot where we didn’t like each other. We didn’t have a relationship.

We had a daughter who was young and in her teenage years. And I think it was difficult for either of us to pull the trigger until I pulled the trigger because at that point, I mean, it was just done. And I think financially I was afraid. I didn’t know anything but him and our little family.

And as much as we had broken up, we had filed for divorce already once and then got back together because he was with like Missy Hyatt then. Yes. He loves those Missies.”

When asked what she did when she learned about the affair, Barbie didn’t go into details but admitted that she found herself fighting for things that she should’ve walked away from. She even recalled having a few exchanges with Missy Hyatt.

“I’m not going to get into what I did. But yeah, I mean…Definitely. I was not someone to keep my mouth shut. Come on. You know what I mean? I fought for things that I look back and go, why didn’t I just go away right then? Like, go.

But you know what? I did. And I definitely am not someone to keep my mouth shut. And I don’t remember exactly what and if, but I surely know I’ve had some exchanges with Missy Hyatt.”

Barbie further stated that Brutus Beefcake and Missy Hyatt had something going on for years, but she doesn’t know the entire history of their relationship.

“They had something going on for years. I think they had something like before me. See again, I didn’t know the whole history of all this. I came into it very green, you know, not knowing all the stuff and all the people that they had been involved with, yada yada yada.”

Looking back on her marriage, Barbie regrets not calling it quits sooner, thinking that it would help her daughter. However, this decision didn’t do anyone any favors.

“Yeah, we should have called it quits then, but we didn’t. After that, we got back together. Well, I mean we never weren’t together. He wasn’t together, but I was. And we were going to get divorced and then we didn’t. And that again I think it was a mistake for both of us. I think he would agree and I don’t disagree with that whatsoever. But we had a kid.

I mean it’s kind of cliche that you stay together for the family and looking back, and I tell this to people, my friends or whatever, don’t do it for the family because it made it worse for my daughter than it did, and for myself and Eddie than it did good.

But traditionally, I thought, you know, let’s try to keep the family together. And we were going to get divorced. We were set to get divorced. And then we didn’t. And we tried again, and it obviously it didn’t work because he moved on to another Missy.” [H/T Ringside News]
