Massive NXT Championship Match Confirmed For Next Week

NXT General Manager, Robert Stone, made a huge call on tonight’s episode as he made a massive title match official for next week. Tonight’s show featured matches that had huge title ramifications.

Both the Tag Team and the Women’s North American championships were defended on the show tonight, while Lola Vice emerged as the number one contender for Kendal Grey’s NXT Women’s Championship.

However, that wasn’t the only title that found its new challenger tonight as the current men’s champion, Tony D’Angelo, showed up and attacked Naraku right after his win over Tate Wilder.

NXT Championship match confirmed for next week on tonight’s show

Following his attack on Naraku, the champion went backstage to Robert Stone and asked him to give Naraku to him. Stone confirmed that he will face the Japanese star for the NXT Championship once again next week.

While D’Angelo was happy with the news, he said that things aren’t over yet on tonight’s show. As the show was about to go off air following the main event, there was a huge commotion coming from the parking lot.

Robert Stone rushed to the parking lot to see Naraku and D’Angelo involved in a huge brawl. He called in security to separate these men before confirming that they will face each other next week in a Street Fight for the NXT Championship.
