WWE Star & Daughter Sent Death Threats After Elimination Chamber

Canadian WWE fans made their feelings known about the United States at Elimination Chamber.

As is tradition, in the moments before the show began, the US national anthem “The Star Spangled Banner” was performed, with Elizabeth Irving on singing duties. However, the anthem was met with a huge chorus of boos from the crowd packed into the Rogers Centre.

In recent weeks, political tensions between the United States and Canada have increased significantly, with Donald Trump claiming he wants to make Canada part of the US. The American President has also proposed trade tariffs between the two nations, which has seen some Canadians boycott American products.

Throughout the show, Pat McAfee made it clear he didn’t like the booing and called out Canadian fans for their actions. He later apologised for his comments, but it seems some fans are still annoyed and have taken things too far.

In a post on his Instagram Stories, McAfee shared a screenshot of death threats aimed at him and his daughter following the show.

“Good morning beautiful people. Standard Wednesday over here. Just some random wishing death upon me & my daughter. Hope you all have a great day.”

WWE Star Sends Warning To Fans

Back in January, Asuka posted a series of messages on social media telling fans to keep their distance. She explained that she wouldn’t be accepting any romantic approaches and had already consulted the police after feeling in danger.

Just weeks later, the star’s X account was hacked, but it’s since been recovered.
