BREAKING: Ex-WWE Champions Finally Return To AEW
Two major stars are finally back in AEW.
David Finlay and Clark Connors, The Dogs, have been on a roll in recent weeks. They have picked up huge wins over Austin & Colten Gunn and The Young Bucks. In fact, Connors also defeated Juice Robinson in a singles match on the June 6, 2026, edition of Collision.
Not to forget, The Dogs also attacked AEW World Tag Team Champions Adam Copeland and Christian Cage on the Dynamite after Double or Nothing. However, David Finlay and Clark Connors faced a setback on tonight’s edition of the Wednesday night show.
Huge AEW Dynamite return
The Dogs were scheduled for a segment on Dynamite, but the returning Adam Copeland and Christian Cage confronted them backstage.
It led to a fight between the two teams. Cope and Cage got the upperhand. Just as they were about to hit a double spear on Clark Connors, David Finlay rolled his partner out of harm’s way.
Adam Copeland and Christian Cage then cut promos in the ring before The Rated-R Superstar challenged The Dogs to a match at the upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view.
