Popular RAW Star Allegedly Has Heat With WWE Management
A top RAW star allegedly has heat with WWE management.
LA Knight had a meteoric rise when he first arrived in the WWE. He got over with the fans due to his promo skills, which resembled that of The Rock. Fans took to him quickly and wanted to see him get pushed as World Champion.
At one point, he was even feuding with Roman Reigns over the World Title. Despite his soaring popularity, LA Knight has never been able to win the World Title. He has had multiple chances to back into the title picture, but he always seems to be on the losing end of big matches. Even in the recent King of the Ring tournament, LA Knight ended up getting pinned by Jey Uso. Jonathan Coachman has a theory about why this may be happening to LA Knight.
Jonathan Coachman believes LA Knight may be having heat with WWE management
During a recent edition of Behind The Turnbuckle Studios’ 2 Count Tuesday, Jonathan Coachman said that WWE doesn’t want to pull LA Knight from television because fans will notice his absence. Hence, they will give him a promo segment in an attempt to keep things from escalating.
“I can only imagine because I’ve seen it so many times with my own two eyes when they write stuff and they try to… and this is what they do. They’ll walk up and say, ‘Hey man.’ And they used to call us on Friday and say, ‘Here’s what you’re going to be doing.’ They call LA Knight and Triple H is like, ‘Listen, man. Forget about what everybody saw in Unreal, man. We need you right now. You know, right now you’re one of our main guys. That’s why we’re giving you your own promo segment.’”
Jonathan Coachman further added that the fact that LA Knight was pinned in the fatal four-way King of the Ring tournament match shows that he has heat with WWE management. He also noted that WWE needs him on the mic, but they don’t want him to get over.
“Well, then what about last week in a fatal four-way? People need to understand in a fatal four-way, it’s not how you lose, but if you take the one, two, three, that’s a big deal. Who did they pin in that fatal four-way? They pinned LA Knight. You could have pinned Finn Balor. Hell, you could have pinned Royce Keys for whatever reason.”
“He’s got heat with the office, as we like to say, and they know they need to use him. They need him on the mic, but they don’t want to have him get over. And this is the result of that, which is absolutely been…If I was LA Knight, I would be beyond pissed because he’s also 44 years old now and he doesn’t have five or ten years to get back in the good graces. His time’s over. And you’re right, he’s got to walk because he can make a lot of money in the next two to three years.” [H/T Ringside News]
It will be interesting to see if LA Knight will leave WWE due to his poor booking.
